Windward Aid is a Caribbean non-profit dedicated to transforming lives through education in Grenada, Carriacou, and Petit Martinique. Our Edu Aid initiatives empower youth and families affected by Hurricane Beryl, ensuring access to learning, skills training, and cultural development across the Eastern Caribbean. Together, we’re investing in a brighter, more resilient future for the region.
Our scholarship programme in Grenada provides two-year educational scholarships to up to 12 children from families impacted by Hurricane Beryl. These scholarships allow parents to focus on rebuilding while their children remain in school and on track. By supporting Caribbean education aid, we’re investing in young minds that will shape the nation’s future.
In Carriacou, Windward Aid has partnered with the Caribbean Institute for EcoLiberation (CIEL) to launch an apprenticeship programme for underprivileged youth. Focused on construction, carpentry, and contracting, the programme addresses high youth unemployment while directly contributing to the rebuilding of homes and local infrastructure. This hands-on training helps develop valuable vocational skills in Carriacou and creates economic opportunity.
